Our promise to empowering women

Being the Founder of a woman owned fashion and lifestyle brand, it is our mission to empower women and make them feel strong and be strong. It is in our genes. We swim by the identity of being independent and empowered to be a strong woman. Women who are bettering their own craft and skill, independent and always seeking to be better and stronger.

Our Founder was mentored/ motivated and driven by a leader in the Fashion world who has inspired her as being the 'most free spirit Fashion Designer on the planet’, she who sought after her own identity and did not care what others thought. She who is beautiful inside and outside, She who chased her dreams and learned and perfected her craft. This is the KAIA Swimwear mission, we believe in ‘Strong Women’. We are about women feeling confident and beautiful wearing our designs and swimwear. We celebrate women.

We are honored to donate portions of our proceeds to such an empowering organization and movement. For each item purchased we donate a proceed to an Indonesian fabric weaving community that joins our movement. These women work endlessly, they are proud and happy, they are hard working women, they are beautiful and strong. We are honored to give back to a movement that reduces poverty and fosters sustainable and equitable communities. The organization is made up of a village of skilled artisans who hand weave fabric with a wood loom; one actual fabric takes days or even months to complete, a very intricate craft that requires years of skill and patience all from the art of the hand and brain. These women earn money for their families from years of skill mastering their hand woven fabric creations. KAIA Swimwear is moved and inspired by women like them and we hope to share our movement and unite our community of STRONG WOMEN!
